Information we collect

• Name, email, phone number, language, and departure city.
• Account, booking, room, payment, and referral information.
• Communications with UVIBE and technical data needed to operate the site.
• Travel documents, dietary restrictions, and an emergency contact after deposit. We do not collect medical information.

Necessary purposes

• Process requests, create accounts, and administer bookings.
• Coordinate flights, lodging, tickets, transfers, and assistance.
• Collect and reconcile payments, operate referrals, and prevent fraud.
• Meet legal, tax, and administrative obligations.

Optional communications

With consent, we may send trip announcements, promotions, and surveys by email or WhatsApp, using the phone number you provide on a form, booking, or promotion such as the prize wheel. You may opt out by emailing hi@uvibe.mx.

Suppliers and transfers

We may share strictly necessary data with airlines, hotels, carriers, ticket providers, payment processors, email services, technology infrastructure, insurers, and authorities. Some may be outside Mexico.

Retention and deletion

We retain personal information for no more than five years after the last interaction, booking, or service. It will then be securely deleted or anonymized.

Where a legal, tax, contractual, or active-claim obligation requires longer retention, only necessary information will be retained and deleted when that obligation ends. Travel documents may be deleted earlier when no longer required.

Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards against loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No system is completely infallible.

Cookies

We use cookies required for the website to function. They maintain sessions, protect accounts, and remember language for the session. The light or dark theme is determined by time and is not retained as a preference.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it. These analytics cookies are off by default: they only activate if you accept all cookies or enable the “Analytics” category from the cookie preferences panel available on the site.

With your consent, we use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and show you relevant ads. These advertising cookies are off by default: they only activate if you accept all cookies or enable the “Advertising” category from the preferences panel. You can change your decision at any time from that same panel.

When you reach the site through an affiliate promoter’s link, we store a first-party attribution cookie (no personal data — only a random identifier) for 90 days. It lets us recognize that your visit, and any later expression of interest even if it happens days afterward, came from that promoter, so we can pay their commission and prevent fraud. It is a functional cookie necessary for that legitimate purpose; it is not used for advertising and is not shared with third parties. We also record the time of the click together with an encrypted, irreversible technical fingerprint derived from your IP and browser; we do not store your IP address in clear text.

You may also block or delete cookies in your browser, but disabling required cookies may prevent login and booking management from working.

You may request access, correction, cancellation, or objection, or withdraw consent, by emailing hi@uvibe.mx. Include your name, contact method, the right being exercised, and information needed to locate your data.
