When and where is Caprices 2027

Caprices celebrates its 25th edition at Eggli, a mountain above Gstaad, Switzerland. The programme is split into two weekends, March 12–14 and March 19–21, 2027, with days in between to explore the region. The trip lasts 12 days and 11 nights.

How to get there from Mexico

You leave from your city (CDMX, MTY, GDL or CUN) on March 11 and return on the 22nd. Your round-trip flight, the hotel near the ski park and the airport–hotel–airport transfers are coordinated by UVIBE.

What the trip costs

Per person:

  • Flight: $22,000 MXN
  • Hotel in a shared room, 11 nights: $2,000 MXN per night, $22,000 MXN in total
  • Access to one festival weekend: $7,000 MXN
  • Trip total: $51,000 MXN

Skiing and other mountain activities, meals, travel insurance and personal expenses are paid separately.

What you need

  • A valid passport.
  • To be 18 or older.

What to pack for the Alps in March

March is snow season. Bring thermal layers, a waterproof jacket, gloves, a hat, shoes with non-slip soles, sunglasses and sunscreen: at altitude the sun is strong even when it is cold.

What to do between the two weekends

March 15–18 are free days. You can ski or try other mountain activities, which are paid separately, or simply explore the region at your own pace.

Getting to Gstaad and up to Eggli

Gstaad is in the Bernese Alps. According to the data we checked, the nearest international airport is Bern-Belp (1 h 20 min by car, 2 h 30 min by train). Geneva is about 2 h by car and 2 h 40 min by train, and Zurich about 3 h by car and 3 h 30 min by train. From Gstaad station you walk about 10 minutes to the Eggli gondola, which takes about 7 minutes. With UVIBE, airport–hotel–airport transfers are included.

March weather in Gstaad

March is snow season in Gstaad: temperatures usually range between 6 °C and −5 °C, with several snowy days in the month. Eggli sits at about 2,000 meters, so the cold and the sun feel stronger than in the village.

What to expect from the festival

Caprices takes place on the mountain, with views of the Alps. In 2026 it had three glass stages with different musical orientations; the 2027 edition is the 25th. The gondola runs from midday until late at night.
